Who this notice covers
This notice applies to information shared on w4s.online, including the estimate tool, booking request, review form and messages you send after opening WhatsApp.
What you may share
- Your name, WhatsApp number and, if you choose, your email address.
- Pickup and drop-off addresses, preferred date and time, move size and item details.
- Access information, special handling notes, photos and other details you choose to send.
- Basic enquiry-source information, such as a campaign link, when it is available.
Why we use it
- To check a route and prepare a useful estimate.
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss availability, access and timing.
- To organise and confirm a booking, keep operational records and resolve questions or disputes.
- To improve the service and understand which channels bring us genuine enquiries.
Who may process it
We may share the details needed for a specific task with providers that host the site, store booking requests, look up addresses or carry messages. Depending on the feature you use, this may include Vercel, Supabase, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim and WhatsApp/Meta. These providers may process information outside South Africa under their own terms. We do not sell your personal information as part of the Wheels4Stuff moving service.
How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to handle your enquiry or booking, run the service, deal with disputes and meet legal or accounting requirements. Different records may need different retention periods.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, ask for deletion where the law allows, object to or limit processing where applicable, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Security and WhatsApp
We use reasonable safeguards for the information we handle, but no internet service or messaging platform is completely risk-free. Please do not send passwords, card PINs or information that is not needed for your move. The estimate prepares a WhatsApp message for you to review; you choose whether to send it.
